Another visit to the woods...

On friday I got another chance to go for a hike. Here are some pics.
This spring is quite cold here in Poland and although it's late april the forrest is still full of fallen leaves especially in shadowy places:

But the signs of spring are much more visible. The ants are very active. Here's an ant-hill:

But in places to which the sun reaches the spring is in full swing. Look at that lovely green:

I never miss the opportunity to roast some kielbasa when I'm in the woods :D:thumbup:

I hope I'm not boring you with the nature pics. They are not too good, but I love watching pics of the woods others so I thought I would share some taken by me.

The Tank Buster is a great hiking knife. It choppes really well. And the tanker grey coating is very durable.
 
Unless it's for sale I think this is in the wrong forum. Very beautiful land and a great blade for sure though!

Those are some really beautiful woods and those sausages look good...they always taste better on an open fire.

Ahhh... Nostalgia is in full swing, how I miss those beautiful birch tree forests...priceless, thanks for the pictures.

Thanks guys for all the nice words! The changing seasons are the most interesting in the woods :thumbup: The green is so vivid!
That ant hill is not that big. Next time I'll try to find a really big one. ;) I'll post some pics than.
