I drew up another one of my wacky designs that I thought would be cool made by Stomper ( John-JK knives).
I already have a different design on order from him so won't be ordering one of these but thought I'd share it anyway !

Intresting. Wish I had the drafting skills you do. I've been trying to get my own custom on paper, but can't seem to do it.

I, for one, like it! I know your designs are often considered a bit off the wall, but they're unique and functional, so they're winners in my book! :D

I wish they stopped coming into my head, it's ok when they are on paper but it costs money when ya want to see them in steel !:D

That's pretty cool. The second hump in front adds a little style. I'd like to handle one of these.

It looks like it would be a sweet chopper if it was longer, :D

Nice design, overall, though.

I like the tip and broad belly. Don't like the thumb ramp (never do) and do not like the point on the handle separating the finger notch area. I find that if this doesn't position exactly right on the hand it makes the grip awkward, kind of like too heavy contouring on the handles. Interesting stuff pitdog.

I really like the blade shape, pretty cool

Only thing I would do is to make the handle 3/8 longer 5 - 5 5/8 ratio is fairly balanced, I used it alot this would give you more room for larger slabs
(4 1/2) and if you happen to work with gloves on.

I like the overall look though.

I wish a cool sheepsfoot would come into your mind :)

I think this design would lend itself easily toward a sheepsfoot design. If the clip point was replaced with a lovely sheepsfoot super dropped point from the second point on the spine (closest to the tip in picture) to about a 1/4" below the current edge belly, and then blend a graceful arc from that point into the current edge and you would end up with an almost Santoku or modified Nessmuk style design. I printed Pit's pic and penciled in what I'm trying to explain, but I do not have a scanner or camera right now.

Did ya mean kinda like this, excuse the drawing it was a quick sketch ! I also made the handle longer as per J.Wades suggestion !

Nice going, pitdog! Now I`ve got to see what material I have in the shop that`s not reserved for any orders. ;)
