So Mistwalker (and others) got me thinking about taking a stroll in the light drizzle/rain/mist/fog...
(Sorry the pics turned out rather crappy)
Wandered up the road from the house, to where the Forest Roads begin:
Started to think a cup of coffee'd be just the thing, so grabbed some pitchwood and firewood from a local stump. Had My Precious with, and chewed up what would be needed:
Found another low stump for a workbench; threw out the contractor's trash bag to kneel on and went to work busting up firewood, kindling and tinder.
The sheath is made to open 'up' when kneeling, so I grabbed the metal match:
Doesn't take too long to get a small fire burning on mineral dirt:
A couple of rocks stabilize the nesting SS cup, with a lid fashioned from a cookie can lid:
Ah coffee!
Put the fire dead-out, packed up and continued wandering; now with hot coffee in hand...!!
As darkness really set in, didn't really need a light to walk the roads, but the ol' Fenix LD-10 was clipped to my glove if illumination were required:
Very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours, the mist dampens *sorry* everything to soften the distance, and focus on the near-by; all is well in the World...!
Cheers,
