hi bill!!!
i finally got access to a digital camera.here's the khukri that i'm trying to identify.is it ww2 era or issue????
what does the letters i.c.e stand for????? the handle has many pins and is some kind of horn.the overall length is 16" and the belly of the blade is 2&1/8".blade length is 11&5/8".thanks for the info!!!

I have to say, I like the proportions. The shortened spine from bolster to bend puts the dropped blade closer and I bet would make it quite manageable. Usually I don't care for the Indian khuks that much and I vastly prefer the look of the Nepalese handles, but in this instance it looks like somebody has a fair eye and did a nice job.

This looks like one of the infamous lion head khukuries. It's a tourist piece, but I don't know what the I.C.E. reference is. Do a search under this forum for "Lion Head Khukuri for more information.
