I'm an electrician and looking for a good hard use folder for my tool pouch. Weight isn't an issue as my belt is already over 25 lbs. Would prefer one handed opening. Needs to be good steel I cut a lot of liquid tight flex and strip a lot of larger gauge wire and cable and the blade will come in contact with other metals. Price range is under $100 and I would like it to be over a 3 inch blade. I was think about the jyd 2 but haven't handled one yet. I wear gloves quite a bit and am competent at sharpening. Not interested in multitools as I already have either a supertool 300 or wave in the overalls. Was also considering the ZT 350 but not sure I want to spend that much and haven't had experience with 154cm. Thanks for your replies.

edit. forgot to add I would prefer partial serrations for cutting zip ties.

I think a ZT 350 is S30V. Anyway, my suggestion is to check out the spyderco gayle bradley with M4 balde steel. Or at least do a search on the threads about the GB here on BF. Lots of guys swear by the M4 on metal to metal contact.

You're correct. ZT350 is available in s30v and 14c28n. My bad. The Gayle Bradley looks like a great knife but is well out of my price range at 165 cdn$.
