Another Who Made This Knife Thread

I don't know either, but that handle looks great!

I dunno but that handle and bolsters look like they could have come right off my bench, so it goes without saying that I love the style and lines :D

Actually, David, you were the first maker that came to mind, because of the handle and guard, but the blade doesn't look like any I've seen from you.

So, when do we find out who made it? :)

I'm pretty sure that Murray White has Loveless style Pro-Hunter on his photo page by this maker.

Yep Fellow Knifenuts,
RJ Martin made this fighter.According to RJ,it was made in 1988 or 89 & this is one of the Only Two He Made.I Loved this one from the first time I saw it & even more now that I own it.I can't afford A Vanguard Raven or Blackbird(Hollow Handled Survival Knives made for Les Robertson's Vanguard Series) But I'm Very Happy with this knife,It Definately gets Two Thumbs Up from me.
Thanks Dredd8 & Thank You RJ Martin,

I buy custom knives that I can learn from. I own 12 of RJ's knives. To me he is a knife genius! He also generously let me visit him in his shop when I was starting out and I learned a bunch. Considering we sell to completely different markets, and use different methods, and materials, there are more similarities than differences in our knives. I saw pictures there of some of his earlier knives. Never would have guessed he made them.

Hi Dan: I can't wait to take delivery of my first DAN FARR knife at BLADE!

And, you are totally right-I love seeing the design similarities in our knives that are essentially totally different, except in performance.

Until this picture was posted, I had totally forgotten this knife. The flare at the butt end, and the fact that the handle is wood (which I am not using much anymore) immediately made me think of your handles.

We need to do a collaboration piece or two......It would be a good excuse to go fishing again...;)
