Well, I got my giveaway Izula and I gotta say, I think this will be a big winner for R.A.T.
It's very stout, very comfortable in the hand and has alot of potental as a cutter with it's wide, beefy blade. the balance is perfect, right at the tang, not that balance is really important in a knife of this size but if it were....
It's sharp, cuts well but it's by no means a slicer. This is a utility blade defined. It had no trouble with any of the little tasks I put it too today. I tried it out on some rope, some wood, I chopped up some wild onions for dinner, cut up some cardboard boxes, cut some paracord and trimmed my nails and never wished I had a different knife. This thing screams EDC.
I think that one of the things that make R.A.T. knives such great blades is that they transend the gap between tactical and outdoorsy. They fit both bills and never leave the user wishing for the other. The hook and bullet crowd can take a RC3 to the woods and never feel like they made a poor choice and at the same time it can be just as comfortably carried concealed for backup or protection and not feel out of place. One life, one knife so to speak.
In that vain, here are some pics for your viewing pleasure:
Oh yea, Jeff told me not to tell you guys that he gave me a sheath too but..... Just kiddin, the UPS man was still pulling out of the driveway and I had the oven on ready to bend some Kydex.
Thanks again for the giveaway guys, this knife really does mean alot to me.
