Another WSK on Ebay....

Looks like it's a relist. But the guy left a positive feed back for the guy who won it last auction. Strange.

Do you think thats Beck listing his own knives?

Very likely.

The starting price ($425) and the shipping charge ($14.50) is exactly what Dave charged on his website before he stopped taking orders. The seller is also located in Pennsylvania, which is where Dave lives.
Of course the above could be coincidences, but interesting ones nonetheless.

I bet its Dave and he is simple laying this knife down in the same spot as the last one he sold or just reusing his images.

I just made a follow up post on the eBay Fraud thread about this. Dave told me a few months ago he had about 20 WSKs to finish and when done he would put them on eBay. So I guess you could be right. Makes sense anyway.

Hey guys, I dont know  Beck told me himself that all of his WSKs would stat at $800. And those pics look like the same pics that one of us here almost got burned on. By the way, have any of you seen the other WSK on ebay for $1350.? Its a 93' version, pretty nice. Well I just hope nobody gets burned :(

Jeff M.,

Do you have a link to the 1993 Tracker on Ebay? I couldn't find it, or has it already ended? I would really like to find one of the older ones. Thanks.

Ric ,
The link wont work for me. The ebay number is 6529510716 or just type beck wsk NOT TRACKER.

Thanks, I found it. It is really quite differant then the later ones. A freind of mine has one from 94/95 and it's more like Dave's current WSK. It's still stamped with the Tracker name and has the hollow ground draw knife but the saw teeth and everything else are the same as the new WSKs.
Thanks for the info I'm going to keep an eye on this one.

To me it looks more like the version in THE HUNTED, rather than the current version. If you get it try and post some better pics. I would love to get my hands on that one...

but you know, I got the whole WIFE thing go'n on! Any way let us know if you get it, okay.

I didn't get it. Went for $1500.00, just couldn't pay that much. It did look a bit differant then the ones Dave made in the late 90's. Those were pretty much just like the WSKs except the draw knife was hollow ground rather then flat. The saw on the ones in the late 90's was the same as the current WSKs and the angle between the blade and handle was the same. The one on eBay was differant in that it had straight cut saw teeth rather then the cross cut and there didn't seem to be any angle to it at all. Also it had the 6 small handle pins rather then the 3 large rivets. It had the "Tracker" stamp and the blade shape was the same as the late 90's models other than the saw. It was a nice looking knife though, wish I'd had the $$ for it.

Later,

Ric
