I'm ready to PAY to get on your christmas list.

That pen is disgusting. That's the only word I have for something so original and beautiful it wrenches the gut.

Way nice, Sean! Someone gonna be tickled pink to have that.:)

Terry- Yes, alot better than working with mokume. But this is a different style pen too, I will have to make one of these in mokume, just to check it out.;)

IG- Exactly. 151 layers, then cut it and added some more 1095 and the pure nickel in the middle, welded everthing back up and then twisted.

Thanks everybody for your great replies. I hope my Mom and Dad like them. I am actually happy with the fit and finish too. Execpt for one little spot, but no big deal. I think I have finally learned patience for the fit and finish stuff.:)

Sean, just astounding! You do adopt, don't you? We all volunteer, and we will even feed ourselves! All of us there for Christmas will be kind of crowded, though. They would have to call you the pen factory owner guy, and I don't know when you would have time for knife making. Seriously, D-mn fine work!!!! Edited to add, Hey, what the gonna get you? It would be really hard to top what you are doing for them!

Sean, If I had a pen like that would my writing improve? What got you doing pens? I could see myself having one like that and everyone wanting to use it. It would surely vanish. You did a very nice job!

John- I will probably just get underware and socks as usuall:D But hey what a better way to get some more exposure? The pens are going to my Grandpa, Mom, Dad, and the ownerof the restaurant that is displaying my knives.

Ray- I got into doing pens as a limited run, except off course, if people start placing orders for them.;) I decided to make them for gifts for people who don't like/understand knives, but like my work.

true artistry and craftsmanship! i would send a pic of that to BLADE MAG, bet it gets published!;)
