another young and dumb busse question

im not as new as some but here's my questions.....i got 2

first one is probably a classic.....why hogs for busse.of course dogs for the yard and rats for the swamp.why hogs for busse.

second one,who is the paul they refer to in the paul's hatchet?
what was his role in it.

im sure these have been asked before but i am very interested in busse history facts.
 
Ever see a bunch of hogs feeding at a trough, competing for food? Kinda like us Busse Koolade drinkers competing for knives and using various subterfuges to gain advantage.

As for the hatchet, my delusional University of Alabama friend insists that it is named in honor of Paul Bear Bryant. :rolleyes:
 
I thought the hatchet was named for his father in law who wanted a small hatchet to use in the garden
 
Paul is Jerry's dad.

Jerry designed it for his dad to use tending his fruit tree.
