I know this is a bit specific, and I've already emailed the manufacturer (No reply yet).

The Anso Knives Prybar 12 is advertised as a prybar, which it excels at. I literally use it almost every day. It's also advertised as having a "Danish bottle opener", but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to crack open a beer with this thing. Does ANYONE know what I'm doing wrong? All I've manged to do so far is cut my fingers on a few beer caps and ding the prybar itself. Do I just have bitch hands, or what?

It's simply how you use any kind of object with a solid edge to open bottles. You can use lighters, folded newspaper or even table edges.
All will suffer scratches, but it works.
Either Google/YouTube it or simply grab the bottle by the neck firmly, then place the prybar between your finger and the bottle cap, using the finger as a pivot for leveraging the pry bar against the cap.

Hold the bottle by the neck just under the bottle cap in your off hand. Place a prying tool on the first knuckle of your off hand index finger and slip the edge under the bottle cap. Use your knuckle as the fulcrum and lever the cap up by pushing down on the long lever end of the pry bar in your dominant hand.

Try different parts of your hands/fingers in your off hand to find what works best for you.

Or, just ask one of your smoker friends to teach you how to open a beer with a lighter.

Once you learn this you'll be able to open bottles with (among other things): other steel cap bottles, plastic capped water bottles, lighters, screwdrivers, knives, some rocks, sticks, keys, a wad of cardboard, the bill of a baseball hat, cartridge cases, etc.

Used to play a game, how many places could you open a bottle on a rifle. Couldn't have been the only person to do that, the Galil came with a bottle opener!
