I just got some great news! Boker is doing a collaboration with Jens Anso and his Haddock folder. I love his work and can't wait to see what the end product will look like. It might take a while but it will be worth it!:D:thumbup:

Whoa! Thanks for the heads up. I love wharncliffs! I wish it was a one-hand opener, although it may have been designed as carry legal pocket EDC.

With a blade that thick, I bet flicking the knife open one-handed would be easy enough, at least. Not as handy as a thumbstud or hole, but better than nothing.

With the nail nick you can open it one handed. I love this knife so much because where I am for college, one had openers are essentially not allowed.

I'm most excited about the Pry-mate and mini. Stubby pocketable fixed blades seem really appealing and I like that these are designed to do a bit of prying.

We are really glad to have them on board!
They are great designers and with an awesome feel for functionality

I' m not really too excited about the Haddock as I think it is purely way too thick to be an efficient cutter and easy to carry around.

I was SO gonna buy that Haddock folder... but it's small, not so sure now. I'd love to have a thickbladed folder like that though.

I really like the Haddock and it looks like a really stout knife with those super thick liners and the 5mm thick blade. I wonder if the US version will have a thumbstud, or even a spydie hole to open? Btw, those titanium liners are 3mm aka .120" thick and the blade is 5mm aka .200" thick! Looks like the weight is only 103 grams, or 3.63 ounces, and the oal is 7.70". A true lightweight and compact BULLDOG of a knife. Another one on the list. Also has N690BO blade steel. My Titan Defender has this steel and it is very good. I took an old leather belt yestrerday, 1.75" wide, .187" thick, and sliced it into 30 seperate pieces and the N690BO cut as well on the 30th cut as it did on the first, would still slice paper afterwards.

Potter,
They are in production in Germany, so maybe the end of this month at the earliest.

Cutter,
It will be the same as the German version, Jens Ansos custom model has the nick, so that is how we will produce it.
