Tom Maringer had the 'Neck Scalpel' and this should be the 'Pocket Scalpel'. This is a non-folding pocket knife. I don't think this is in Jens regular knife line but it should be!

The grinding and distal taper of the blade is just about perfect and this thing is scalpel sharp! The sheath is quite a piece of work in itself and perfectly fitted to this fine stainless Damascene blade, finished off with an overlay of lizard skin.

I can't say enough good things about this maker and his willingness to please his customers!

Jens tends to make these small pocket fixed blades out of left over Damascene. That is why they are not one of his regular knives.

This one looks great, but then again, I have always liked just about everything that Jens has made.

It's a double grind; needle-like point, mirror-polished edge......:)

What did you use for the backdrop for those pics.?Very interesting texture and I can't quite put my finger on what it is.

It's a lizard skin. I'm an ABS member and forge some knives so I've got various hides around the shop for my wood-lined sheaths and like to use them as back ground for my pictures.

That's really nice Dudley.., great pictures! I didn't realize you had any knives without two handles ;)....
