Anticipating the arrival of CTS-XHP and wondering how well it sharpens up on the Sharpmaker?Thanks for any feedback

It'll sharpen it alright, my intuition says.

My XHP AK sharpens up very nice on the sharpmaker. It gets scary sharp. But touches up easily on the dark stones then you can use the whites to fine tune.
Edge holding is a huge step up as well. Do not be worried about sharpening. That said I feel the same way about M390, S110V etc. They all sharpen up easily on the sharpmaker if you have a clue what you are doing.

You are going to love this steel. Cold Steel needed an upgrade all across the board on their steels and now they are coming. O1 is already being used, as well as BD1. I can't wait for the CTS-XHP to be introduced in more models, like the American Lawman.
