Im a lover of those old designs too. The movie with Will Smith "Wild Wild West" is one of my favorite shows. The coolest knife I saw at the Blade Show was by Wade Colter, It was a big bowie knife with a small flintlock pistol attached to the blade. It sold for $8,000 before the show opened.

Hey Mike S. If I remember right, the one on top had a substantial hilt; like five inches so I'd say the blade must be seven or seven and a half inches. The so called (seller's words) Indian "scout knife" looks to have at least an eight inch blade or maby a little more. I love pewter decoration, many indian pieces had it, and hope to give a try to this design.

Thanks, I like the pewter too

Reproduction of old pieces is pretty neat in my book.

Hey Lively, indeed; I emailed the seller on this before it went off and it was "found" in Baton Rouge out of an old estate!! Very simple and very useful...The piece went for about 400 bucks I believe.
