Good Day to all, Hopefully I learned a lot for how to use your system for the pictures, so here I go with my 2nd sword, that I recently inherited , the first one was the Russian 1827 IDed by GC.
British Royal Artillery sword 41.5” OA and a 35” blade. Has interlocking triangles, brass proof disc, T.H.S., and “Royal” “Artillery” on one side of the blade and RA logo, Crown, and Cannon on the other side. Pictures/Links below.
In a BTW bit of trivia, the elderly gentleman that passed these on to me was stationed in England as a Capt of the USAF in 1952. These swords were given to him by his 65ish year old landlady and are believed to have been her father’s or grandfather’s, so mid-19th century quite probable and the Russian sword could have easily have been a war trophy.
