I saw this little knife on ebay and thought "Hmm, that looks an awful lot like a karda." It was around 15 bucks after shipping so I bought it. The seller was in Massachusetts so I guess it could be from anywhere. Can anybody confirm this is a karda and not just some random patch knife or something? There aren't any markings on the blade.
I assume the handle is horn. There's no edge on it whatsoever, but it looks like there once was, and you can see little scrapes from previous sharpenings.
If you look at these kardas from the Powell collection, it looks a lot like the third from the top in the rightmost column.
