This is a dui chirra (two fullers) khuk that bears the mark of the Royal Arsenal of Nepal. According to JP, it was made in the late 1870's.
The brass decorative rings are a bit loose, probably due to shrinkage of the horn.
Handle is tight, and is being anointed with Hooflex as I type.
This blade was not made for chopping wood, IMO. The fullering gives it a great lively feel despite the width of the blade. It is sharp (I got it that way)
I kept this one on display on the mantle in my living room for years. I always felt that I could grab it up in a flash for home defense, if needed.
Overall condition is very good +. You will probably not see many like this for sale. No scabbard with this one.
$130.00 shipped USA Only.
