Antique Restorations?

I got a call yesterday from a guy who wants an antique knife that his grandfather owned to be restored. Sounds like it's quite fancy piece with gold work and ivory. He had taken it to a jeweler but he botched the job. Is there anybody who is a reliable restorer of knives out there? I don't know if the piece is a folder or fixed blade. Thanks!

Thanks! I passed the message on to him, so you may be hearing from him soon. Sounds like he's an attorney from Springfield who has some sort of antique piece that belonged to his grandfather. That's all I know but hopefully you can send him to the right folks.

Roger Green used to do them.And he was really good at it to.You couldn't tell it wasn't original when he got dome with it either.
