I went to a semi-annual antique sale in Mount Dora today and must've found every BUCK knife they had. I didn't buy all of them because some of the dealers were WAY too proud of their items. All visited the buffer when I got home except the 127
I never heard of a 127 before. It did have the original sheath.
From Left to right a 1999, a 2010 and a 4-dot. The 1999 & 2010 knives will shave as they sit. The 4-dot is in relatively good shape just needs some TLC.
Same knives, top is 1999.
The find of the day. A 3rd ver. 9th var. 110 with BUCK and USA on the right side of the blade in used but relatively good condition.
This one is going to Leroy for a blade replacement if he's got one. I guess someone found out why you don't try to strip a live wire
!
Should I try and do something about the name or leave it as it does add some character to the knife.
I did score 2 display cases in need of new glass for next to nothing (compared to new ones).
