I went to a semi-annual antique sale in Mount Dora today and must've found every BUCK knife they had. I didn't buy all of them because some of the dealers were WAY too proud of their items. All visited the buffer when I got home except the 127

I never heard of a 127 before. It did have the original sheath.

From Left to right a 1999, a 2010 and a 4-dot. The 1999 & 2010 knives will shave as they sit. The 4-dot is in relatively good shape just needs some TLC.

Same knives, top is 1999.

The find of the day. A 3rd ver. 9th var. 110 with BUCK and USA on the right side of the blade in used but relatively good condition.

This one is going to Leroy for a blade replacement if he's got one. I guess someone found out why you don't try to strip a live wire:eek:!

Should I try and do something about the name or leave it as it does add some character to the knife.

I did score 2 display cases in need of new glass for next to nothing (compared to new ones).

Nice find on knives. The 127 is a larger fillet knife in a set of 'Mates'. ie. StreamMate md. 125, LakeMate md. 123 and (your) OceanMate md. 127. These came out in late 1984. DM

Mitch, I think you did good... I love antique sales, swap meets and estate sales... Cool knives... ITE ...

Well done, Mitch.

Wish we'd see more knives included in things like that around these parts.
