I have just got back form a holiday in Cornwall UK . and I picked up some knifes form am antique stall at a flea market . the first one is a fruit knife with a silver blade and mother of peal scales . after a little research I think it was made around 1866 by Alfred Taylor in Birmingham UK . if any body can add any info that would be great . . . .
The second knife is a Richards of Sheffield . . .
The third one I can't make out the makings if any body can help out that would be great . . .
I picked up 3 knfes for £10 and I am really happy with what a got .
I did this thread so there would be a place for all your fantastic finds :)

Looks like:
G. Butler & Co.

Beautiful fruit knife!

Yesterday, I picked up this Remington. One blade broken, and the other is pretty worn & wobbly.

And this wreck of a mystery Barlow

I'm accumulating a number of old wrecks. If I find anything interesting about one, and it's under $5, I can't help myself.

Nice finds R.c.s. Yep, G.Butler & Co. Lovely fruit knife, particularly like the work-back. You can find all the silver mark keys online
