Found this 6347 (to right of yello 3347) @ an antique store near Brenham, Tx yesterday after the Giddings gun show......this one has "CASE XX" over "STAINLESS" which makes it a very early stainless knife not marked USA, and having nickel liners and a very thin more pocketable thickness compared to newer models.....shown with 3 minty similar knives, also with nickel liners (including the 3347). A red bone 6375 large stockman, a brown bone 6292 Texas Jack, and the yellow 3347 stockman-that one has the "for flesh only" moniker on the spey. The new old bone 6347 will be sent to Case to see if they can replace the blade and touch up and clean up the spey and sheeps' foot which are both pretty full and all 3 are quite tight.....also has 2 rivots holding the well worn shield....fun find.... :->
