My sons and I went out to our favorite antique store...Medina Antique Mall yesterday. For all you Ohioans, it is a great one and worth the trip.
I planned on taking a lot of pictures, but unfortunately my son's Ipod ran out of battery.
We were stuck behind this truck for 45 minutes!
Outside the mall. Back in the 50's and 60's this place used to be a local grocery store.
Some knives we didn't buy
A cool sculpture made with Civil War artifacts
Ok, and now to the finds. We bought more but these were the ones worth sharing.
An early Imperial sleevboard
A Gerlach Poland (my first Polish knife) lobster
A Utica Firestone Tires advertisement knife
A SAK style made in Germany
Imperial Fisherman
Two funny folders
And the best find of the day. A Sword Brand (Camillus) easy open. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw this one.
Along with a bottle opener on a chain for my son. His favorite movie is Cool Hand Luke and has been looking for a similar one that Paul Newman wore.
