My sons and I went out to our favorite antique store...Medina Antique Mall yesterday. For all you Ohioans, it is a great one and worth the trip.
I planned on taking a lot of pictures, but unfortunately my son's Ipod ran out of battery.

We were stuck behind this truck for 45 minutes!

Outside the mall. Back in the 50's and 60's this place used to be a local grocery store.

And the best find of the day. A Sword Brand (Camillus) easy open. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw this one. Along with a bottle opener on a chain for my son. His favorite movie is Cool Hand Luke and has been looking for a similar one that Paul Newman wore.

Looks like they have some wonderful stuff! The old Civil Wars display in really neat. You found some really great knives!! Makes me want to go on a hunt.

Thanks for posting.

P.S. You new backdrop is super cool!

I agree with Gevonovic! :) Must be a nice place to spend time...

That Sword Brand is a great looking knife. A real beauty. I´ve seen the tang stamp almost some times and everytime I see it, it remembers me on the "Wilkinson Sword Razors" which are sold here in Germany. I don´t know if they are available in the US.
That Imperial Sleeveboard is nice, too. As well as the polish Gerlach Lobster.

Congratz on the nice day and the nice finds :)

Some great finds there Vanguard, thanks for the thread, looks like you all had a good day out :)

I like the bottle-opener too. I had a friend who saw an advert years ago saying 'Drink Canada Dry'. So he moved there! ;)

(OK, you can all stop groaning now!)

Great scores-I love looking at your knives you manage to score!
But man-o-man, That Camillus E/O is something else...no wonder you nearly had a heart attack when finding it!...You lucky dog you!

Nice scores, I love goin' to yardsales and fleamarkets around here, ya still find some good old knives in great shape for a decent buck yet, sounds like ya had a nice day with some nice scores.... :)

excellent scores! especially that camillus, wow!
Also envious of the dynamite box for your backdrop, very cool
