Went out yesterday with my wife...I found a nice Kabar slipjoint with synthetic yellow scales and no bolsters. Also found an Imperial pocket knife with a letter opener. I spent 20 bucks on both of them. We're going back out today, so I post my total findings when we arrive back.

EDIT: For the hell of it, I'll post the pictures now.

I always stop at antique stores for pocket knives. I found a long tail C Case peanut with beautiful bone for 26 dollars. It had a nasty rust spot that pitted deeply but I still thought of it as a score. I like finding the Case 70's dots at antique stores as well. I also found an old Imperial switch blade, aka push button auto at an antique store. If you collect knives then antique stores are a must.

Nice pickups, Vanguard.

Chris - I remember that old auto - I would love to find one of those!

best regards -

The old Kabar looks great, I will have to do a little antique store shopping myself and see what I can find

Antique stores, junk shops, flea markets, roadside yard sale stands. Picked up lots of nice knives at great deals. Axes too.

I like the Imperial for the business name. The handle looks to be in excellent shape.

I found a few other knives, guys. I ended up purchasing a Craftsman (Schrade) slipjoint and a machete. Bought the two for $25.00 I'll have to post some pictures later.
