Went out with my oldest son yesterday. We had a blast, and bought a few interesting items.

First is a John Primble Belknap...payed 3 bucks because it was a little rusty.

Next is this silver fruit knife...I have never owned one so I picked it up. Looks like it was made by Gorham in the 1800's

Another one I bought was this Imperial pin up girl knife. Interesting piece for only 5 dollars. I might get rid of some of the rust...we will see.

Finally, is this Imperial WW2 EZ-Open knife. Payed 20 bucks.

We're also heading up to a gun show on Sunday. I plan on posting whatever we find.

Great finds. I really like the Primble and the Imperial. And..you will have to demonstrate the fruit knife as to how the second blade is used. Maybe some more angles on that one, if you please.

I believe the secondary is used to pick out seeds....and I can get other angles in the morning.

Perhaps you already know this, but the stamps on the blade of the fruit knife are hallmarks and allow you to identify exactly who made it, in what year.

I do. It was made by Gorham...in Rhode Island if I remember correctly.

Thanks. That thing is quite ornate. Still wondering about the secondary blade and its untended usage. I will research it.

Wow! That fruit knife is something else. Beautiful piece.

Off to cruise the 'bay for pics of others...:D

Nice finds. Every place I go to wants to sell knives in this condition for $50 or more it seems.
