Antique Western L66

I picked this up yesterday, Not much money but it was in such good shape for the age. I am trying to date when it was made. The only chart I can find has the log printed the same but for the USA under Western Boulder Colo. dates to 1928-31. If I am missing something please advise. Thanks.

Nice find, I would use 3 in 1 oil on a cloth rag to clean it up a bit, find a sheath for it and definitely carry it , sorry, don’t know the age

Just seeing this post for some reason - Your knife was made between 1968, when the model number stamp shifted to the guard from the pile side ricasso and 1972, the last year "BOULDER, COLO." was part of the stamp.

Nice knife. I have it’s twin. I carry mine once in a while. It’s the only knife I’ve had strangers give me compliments on. Really strange. Do you have a sheath for it!? Triple K makes a nice one for it.
