I just finished this latest version of my micro gunstock pattern. I wanted to try some new things to create a pocket knife with an already aged or "pocket worn" appearance.

This knife is small and thin. The whole knife is 3 1/4" closed and less than 3/8" thick total. The blade is 2 5/8" long and made from .085" thick W2 with a French patina. The scales are vintage Westinghouse micarta from an electrical insulator. Bolsters are aged bronze. The liners and hardware are blackened titanium. The fileworked backspacer is aged/antiqued bronze.

That's so soooooo nice!! How does it carry? Leather slip?
I initually make these to just drop in pocket, like a true old school pocket knife with a modern construction method. But many of these are carried in leather slips now as well when requested by the new owners.

They're so slim and small they just disappear.

I have never put a pocket clip on one of these and currently I have no plans to do that. The clip would be almost as big as the knife and would totally ruin the looks and the concept, IMO.
