Here is a wakizashi that I just finished up. Sorry for the mediocre pics, I couldn't fit it in my light tent.
It has a nice antique finish, a hammered copper spacer, and a browned steel guard. The handle has a brown wrap over Ivory sting ray.
The steel is 5160, OAL is 23" w/ a 17" blade.

I like the looks of the blade as well as the guard. In all honesty though I think the handle is a little on the square side
 
makes me wanna sneak around in the dark in my ninja suit.
 
Liking that , your pieces tend to mix the old with the new nicely .
I'm a noob I have a piece being finished now if you search my threads started its on there.
I think a handle like the one on that thread would've set this off better but its still stunning .
Is the blade blackened ? it is it the light hard to see iPod just blurs on a zoom in , nice work.
