R-6 - by Dil kami
Antler handle, full tang
176 grams (6.2 ounces)
8.5 inches overall
Blade 4.25 inches
Edge 3.50 inches

Wow what a very nice knife! I have been waiting for one of these for some time. It is as if this one was made just for me, it fits my hand perfectly. I put it on the Wicked Edge sharpener for a few short minutes and it can now "feather" a hair!

The balance point is right on the 2nd pin but you can still feel some weight in the belly and it makes for a very nice feel. This will be a great edc knife for me.

I haven't done any batoning yet but it cuts everything I have tried it on very well. Overall, I love it and would highly recommend the R-6.

I plan to make a different sheath for it; probably a belt, dangler, shoulder carry combo. Right now it is heading for a mineral oil bath.

That's a beauty Bill, great snag. Been a while since I've sharked anything due to being overseas, but if I could've, I would've gotten that R-6.

That's a really nice knife, I would've been all over that.

The R-6 is my favorite of the R series.

I'm pretty sure it was designed as a bit of a SARGE on steroids. I have used the R-6 for everything from trimming the fat off meat to cutting away vinyl slings on patio furniture.

Fantastic blade and a great belt knife at an incredible price:thumbup:

Mine's not as pretty. Simple "fuzzy" monkey pod wood. Love the antler.

I love how the handles feel after a 24-48 hour soak in mineral oil. The come out feeling soft and have a shiney look to them.

This knife gets lots of comments and compliments. People see the bottom inch of the scabbard poking out under my jacket and ask what I have. After seeing the scabbard they have no idea what is going to come out but, when they see it they almost always say WOW!. The best part is, unlike a kukri you can actually carry the R-6 every day. Can't wait to get started on the new sheath.
