  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I just found a box full of knoves and this is one of them. Can some one help me as to when it was made. Was it expensive. Is it collected. Is it worth anything. Is the company still in buisness, and generly anything you guys want to tell me. Thanks for any help Rick.

Anton Wingen made knives with the Othello trademark in Solingen Germany since (at least) the beginning of this century. They made everything from tableware to hunting knives to pocket knives to knives for the military. I'm sure their older knives are collectable but due to the many different styles of knives they made, who knows how much.

Unfortunately this fine old company went bankrupt a few years back...
