Any and all carry options! Let's see 'em! Looking for creative and practical ideas!
Be sure to give a brief, one line description detailing why your carry method works for you.

I've got an Izula II coming any day.
The best, simplest, cheapest carry option I've seen so far was posted on the ESEE forum.
The guy took about a 3 inch section of a bicycle inner tube, and wrapped it around the sheath.
This allows you to carry it horizontally.
Personally, I think this is brilliant and plan to do it also.

I tweaked my Izula/Izula II carry option to front right pocket. I tweaked a molle clip & attached a self adhesive self locking Nite Ize clip and screwed the molle clip to the sheath:thumbup: This is my EDC and really like it:)

I'm stealing that idea and implementing it on my izula. Thank you for the pic! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::)

THAT'S what I'm talkin' bout! NICE! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

When you deploy that puppy do you pull the entire sheath out first? Seems like just pulling the blade would cut a hole in your pocket.

I had concerns while in the midst of thinking out the design so I experimented before deciding on the final layout. I have ZERO issues with retracting and returning the knife to the sheath using one hand. The Nite Ize clip has the little locking device so it holds the sheath in pocket so you don't have to extract the entire sheath itself.

This way it's a one handed method versus a two handed method which is what I was after:thumbup:

Whoa, Paul, great idea! I'm gonna look if I can find a similar clip without spending too much and attach it to my EsKabar sheath...

paracord wrap around the sheath so it goes on my belt horizontal, keep it at my 1 o clock right after the last belt loop. only carried it like that for a few days but it feels pretty good.

@paul

Thats a super sweet setup i think i might steal that idea next time i get an izula thanks.

Thanks for the compliment:o When you put yours together post it here, I'd like to see it:thumbup: The cool thing is I'm sure someone will improve on it and I'd like to see their version of clip pocket carry also:D

A quick thanks to all who posted thier thoughts and suggestions so far! I need someone to take a pic of my carry method, because I wear it with the handle at the small of my back, butt facing toward my right hand. Small tek-lok tightened for no belt slip.

I had to take it off my belt to produce these photos though. Good thing for all concerned. The last time I posted a photo of myself w/ blade and sheath on my belt on the web my wife told me to get a grip and get a model! Yikes.

sounds brilliant indeed - but how did he fix the tubing to the sheath? (i guess screws with spacers would work...)

No.
He didn't cut the tube down its length.
He merely cut about 2" of the tube out of its circumference,
then slid it around the sheath.
It completely encircles the sheath.

ok so you'd need to hold the sheath in place while drawing the knife?... otherwise it would just slip out right? fixing it in place with 2 screws would let you handle it one-handed - or do i have the wrong picture here...

That right front pocket carry is making it hard not to buy one... but I'm thinking left rear pocket with the same set up
Any chance you can email me where you got the materials necessary?
