Anvil ID- This One Has Me Confused

I picked this up today from a customer that comes into my place of employment; I'm not really sure what to make of it. It must have a cast body, judging by the cast #2 on one of the feet, but it has absolutely no markings other than that. I've chalked both sides and feet, and still nothing. No ring to it. One square handling hole under the horn, and one round handling hole under the heel. It's had the heel "welded" (if you want to call it that) back on across the hardie hole, and I can't make out if it ever had a pritchel hole. I haven't cleaned up the welded-on heel, but it looks odd that it hasn't rusted the same; still feels/sounds like it's cast though. I'm not positive that it's original to the anvil. The hole in the bottom isn't really a hole- it's about a 1/2" deep divot and pretty porous. I haven't weighed it, but it feels like 200 lbs. The general shape has me thinking Vulcan, but I'm not sure. Star American/ American Star maybe? Someone has to know . . .

The horn shape looks a little different where is meets the bottom of the anvil than on my early fisher. Ask over at iforge iron. That steel block that was welded onto the heal makes me cringe, how much did you give for it?

Paid a whole $50. When I saw the heel of it it really threw me on why someone would do that to it. The rebound is decent on it up to the hardy hole, but the heel is completely dead.

Looks like a Mousehole style named after the Mouse Hole Forge. The tail extension does look welded on , probably to make it more of a London patern.

Proably a goodto very good user

A good investment a unless you have to ship it airmail!

This one has me a bit stumped, but im fairly sure the tail piece is not original. Most likley the tail was broken off at the hardie and a chunk of mild steel, forklift fork etc was welded on to give it a tail again. the horn is oddly shaped on the bottom and looks nothing like my late 1896 mousehole or most other mouseholes that i have seen.
