Anvil in Mass if anyone is looking

Hi guys, I did'nt know if anyone in Mass is looking for an anvil, but a buddy of mine saw one this week at an antique shop in Rehoboth Mass. Hes a blacksmith and says its a Swedish anvil, aprx 150 lbs, pretty good shape. The guy that owns the shop is asking $240 for it, which sounds fair. I got a Peter Wright off the same guy a couple months ago and it was a great deal. Let me know if interested and I will get some contact info. (I know where the shop is but dont remember the name.) I just thought this might be a good lead as anvils are tough to find.
 
Sounds like a great deal to me if it's in reasonable shape. But I've already got a 250 lb. Fisher, and that's a long ways away:)

Somebody ought to get it though, sounds nice!

Greg: I asked Jay to buy it and I'll pay him for it, so I'll have it here for the HI if you want to buy it off of me.:D If not I am sure someone else will want it for that price. This way I figured it would save someone the trip.:confused: :confused: :D
 
Hey I.G. I picked up the anvil after work today, seems to be in nice shape, it will need some cleaning up to really tell, but I think for the price its a deal. Cant tell the weight, but I'm guessing around 120lbs, I moved it around without too much trouble. I 'll call you to make delivery arrangements.
