Back when I worked at Centaur Forge we sold a lot of the NC anvils, mostly to fariers, as the designs lend themselves well for modifying shoes, and most are light enough to carry anywhere. Some of the extras that are put on farriers anvils are handy for their trade, but may get in the way of bladesmithing. For example many have an upturned horn, this helps keep the shoe in place, but can extend higher than the anvil face. it is easy to hit your tong hand on a horn like that if you do any work from the front of the anvil.
The NC's are well built, cast steel, and surface hardened, but a little light for my taste. a 70lb anvil will move and sometimes jump when you are working. I would suggest at least a 100 lb anvil, solidly mounted as a minimum for blade work.
The NC Cavalry 112lb sould be my choice of the NC line, although for the price, I would look around for a used anvil with a decent face. a good used anvil should run from $2.50 to $3 per pound. Where are you from? there may be a local blacksmithing group. Most groups have at least one member who is selling a nice anvil at any given time.
Good luck
