I bought this from a sheet rock installer on a construction site for 20$ in 1993.It looked like it was carried a lot and the blade had a patina but it did not appear to have ever been sharpened.I carried it in a daypack mostly and skinned two deer with back in the mid nineties then put it in a drawer and forgot about it.Then in about 2002 i started hanging out here and dug it out and noticed the scale on the liner lock side was loose at the front. The pin was tight in the scale but had come loose from the liner and i asked about how to fix it on this very forum. The company went tits up before i could send it to be repaired so it languished in a drawer again til a few months ago and i wedged the scale out and cleaned with acetone and used some sandpaper to roughen the liner and scale then acetone again and epoxied it.Worked like a charm and I love the thin flat grind and old fashioned carbon steel.Just the ticket to soothe eyeballs that have seen too many "tactical" folders.

I applaud your taste. Great minds think alike. I have a number of Schrade hunters of various ilk, most of which are safe queens, but I have picked out a single blade like yours and a double blade one and I USE THEM. I never warmed up to the lockbacks, but of course they are very nice as well. I only REALLY like about 2000 different knives so far. I don't care for most knives. ;):D

Probably my all time favorite folder. I carried one for more years than I can remember before losing it in a move.

I have a Buck 110 sheath somewhere that I used for this after the 110 was used to gut a trout, laid on a rock while putting trout away, and left on that rock.Looked for it on the way back and never found it.Fish Camp Prong up near Goshen and Silers Creek has a most peculiar vibe.

I have one that I carry and is great for an all rounder from cutting up a steak camping to anything else thanks for the gift Larry303 ;)

Bingo! I have one that will come off a gut, analectomy, sternum split, quarter and disjoint lower legs of a mulie and still be useable (but it wouldn't mind a light touchup). And no loosening of rotator cuff. There is no denying that cleaning up a folder after a nasty job is more work, however. Check in more often, Jamo; nice to hear from you!

The 125OT is a pretty big folder yet relatively light weight. Here it is shown with a couple of 4&5 inch fixed blades for comparison

I like my Schrade 225. It's a "Son of a gun".

I've had quite a few folding hunters and the Schrades are my favorites, especially the 125 OT's. They lock up like a vault and have that timeless, classic look. Great camping knives!

This was my first knife as a teen, I carried one for 5 years and used the crap outta it.

Original one was stolen, picked another up last week and have been using it daily. It cuts better than several of my "high-end" knives do.

That was my first belt folder, Used to carry it to school, in my jacket pocket, when I was in the eighth grade.

Yours looks pretty good. :)

Reminds me of a saying I heard once that goes like this; 99.9% of all lawyers give the rest of them a bad reputation. ;)
