Recommendation? Any actual experience with CFK Cutlery CPM 3V ?

Just wondering if anyone has enough first hand use and sharpening with one of CFK's 3V knives to say if genuine and good HT , etc .

Price is right , if not fake or poor quality .

OK good luck. Usually you only get those people on here after a CFK knife breaks or has some other problem.

If you feel somehow this leopard has changed it's spots and want to throw some bucks down they'll be glad to take your money.

I purchased a CFK “3V” knife and sent it to CPM and they tested it. It is not CPM 3V but AUS8. It is not CPM steel.

I broke one myself , but it really took some awful abuse to do so . I was actually pretty impressed by how hard it was to break .

It was Damascus , but much tougher than what I've previously tested from Pakistan .

So , the jury is still out , IMO .

I should add that the main guy blacklisted from buying from his Ebay store for awhile , until I contacted him .

He's fairly paranoid , but maybe for good reasons .

He did give me complete refund for the broken knife , by the way .
