Any ambi ti frame locks out there?

Do you guys know of any titanium frame locks that are drilled for left and right carry? I know about the ZTs but is that it? Do other companies make ti frame locks with reversible pocket clips ? I'm on a hunt for a new knife. I wish the umnumzan's pocket clip was a ambi, it's the perfect knife to me but I regularly switch between left and right handed carry :/

Pretty sure most of not all the spyderco frame locks have reversible clips. You can airways just buy a left Sebenza.

I had an idea of making a framelock that had a lockbar on each side that you could choose which one engages thus making it fully ambidextrous.

:eek:But I had that idea first! Only I was going to have both locks engage, and a v-shaped slider between them disengage them. You stole my idea!

OP: Lefty sebenza is my vote.

Hmmm. Maybe the frame locks would be on the top, like a double frame lock compression lock. Then the slider wouldn't be in the way--and the design would be even more unique!

If your looking at an umnumzan you obviously have money, buy whatever you want and have it drilled/tapped. There are plenty of people here that would do it for you or you could find a machine shop in your area that would do it with one day turn-around. Also try contacting CRK, they are famous for working with people, I'd bet (for a fee) they'd be happy to drill your knife for 4-way carry at the factory.

Use a pivoting thing instead of a slider, the pivot at the top of the handle near the [blade's] pivot, when you need to close it lift a lever that swings something up to disengage the locks that would then swing back down till its parallel with the handle and out of the way of the blade.

Go custom. My Dalton "twins" are mirror imaged and I carry one in each pocket.

On the subject of full ambidextrous frame locks, a GTC custom comes to mind. A symmetrical dagger flipper, it had a flipper on both sides of the blade and a lock bar on each scale so you could use either flipper. You could do something similar but have two opposing lock bars cut into one scale and have a truly ambidextrous frame lock.
