I had a Benchmade knife (it was actually my first good knife) that I lost. I have no idea of the model number or name. The blade was sort of a scimitar shape. Also, the first one I had was partially serrated, that one broke and the replacement was a plain blade because they quit making the serrated and didn't want to fix my original. The thumb stud was a metal disk. It didn't have a belt clip. Any ideas? Perhaps a website with their product line, history, fan club. Any help would be appreciated.

Start here. This guy has a great site with a lot of good pictures of older Benchmade models.

Off the top of my head, the only knife that fits is the Monarch. Take a look and see what you think.

Welcome to Bladeforums! :)

I can't think of the knife myself. We have lots of Benchmade fans here. Maybe one of them will remember.

This is Benchmade's website http://www.benchmade.com/

Good luck with the search.

The Monarch is almost exactly it. Same handle, same thumb stud but the blade was more "tanto-esque". Thanks for the great link!

Glad to see my gallery has helped you out. :)

There were a few different versions of the Monarch. Here is the catalog page showing the various available styles.

That's it, the 507S. It makes me shudder from delight to see it. Looks almost like a nessmuk blade. A gift from my father when I was thirteen and lost overboard on Lake Granbury (I always use a lanyard now). Thanks alot guys, I had no idea what to look for.

Padrisimo, send me an email when you get a chance. You don't have any listed.
