Anyone out there have a SNody Activator or Tacticalo Activator or even the larger + model... What do you use it for and better yet- WHAT DO YOU CARRY YOUR SNODY in? PICS!!!

I have a BM Snody 210TK. THis is the black carbon fiber/silver G10 Activator with a Kydex sheath for neck carry. I wear it EVERY day. It gets used sometimes to open a box, cut some tape, etc., but more often than not I'm using an EDC fixed blade before I reach for the 210.

I've had my Activator Plus for about a month or so. It is now my EDC. I am a land surveyor and find myself in many different types of work inviroments. I use it for light limb triming, rope cutting, cutting stake straps, etc. I did have to buy some DMT Dia-Sharp diamond stones because of the D2 steel & they work great! (ultra fine, fine & course. Havn't had to open the course stone yet. :D ) I highly recomend this fine Snody design blade! Sorry, no pix yet.

Mainly use it as a Horizontal Carry while hunting.
It works AWESOMELY on turkeys to breast them out.
Gutted my deer this year with it as well, but it did not work as well as I would have thought.

who makes that sheath?

You asking me or the other guy?
Regardless.
David Brown (Brown Industries).
Concealex (carbon fiber look) w/tech lock.
They also can make: Black (standard), Desert Camouflage, Olive Drab, Woodland Camouflage, & Chocolate Brown

String is not in use at this time, just included in the picture for reference.

I suspect Dogman was asking about your sheath, Shaman. There isn't much special about BM's 210TK sheath (although it works well). That one from Brown Industries has a very classy look to it. I kndly like it :D

They are only $35 off American Heritage Sports website.
Cheap as I have seen for a really nice looking carbon fiber-like sheath.
I like it enough that once my 802SS comes back from Buck I'll be shipping it off to David for a custom Concealex for it (a bit more than $35. hehe)

I hate that I traded mine. But I used to carry it lashed to my belt like so

Thats the BM sheath, I never had any problems with it. The 210 is a very though little fixed blade, that feels great in the hand with a little lanyard on it. The lanyard gives your pinky something to hold on to. I did black and gray gutted para cord. I should get another sometime, I loved that little guy. The fit and finish is great, and I love they way BM does their S30V. Yes IMHO I think they do it better than Spyderco!

Just pull the trigger, its a great little blade. The twill is sweet looking in the daylight.

I will buy both of those damascus customs sooo fast... Those are amazing.

The Gold G10 looks very fine.............. The moonglow is pretty cool. Nix on the pink (hmmmm...maybe for mamma). I like the name for the "Crackarta"....but I don;t think I could live with the scales, Mike.

The other Customs are BEAUTIMUS!!!! They look like cousins of the Carolina Skinners I admire so much. Are any of the above knives for sale?

Thanks Buddy!!

I really appreciate your comments!!

My shop is a 6000 square foot concrete building thats about 100 years old.

I am literally right in the middle of Crack town and usually have several of them passed out on the sidewalk in front of the shop.

My friend made the "Crackarta" as a joke using pieces of cigarette butts, scrap pieces of denim, wrappers off sardine cans, old socks, malt liqour labels, and other things that Crackies have.

It has a texture similiar to rag micarta.

These knives have all been delivered to their owners but if I can ever help you with anything just give me a call at 361 443 0161.

Thats what were here for.

Thanks Again!

SnodyKnives.com would not load for me, you need to put the crack addicts back on the hamster wheels.
Or pump some Energy Drink into them.

What is the range of cost for a custom handle?
I have the BM210, but might be interested in custom plates.

I've handled the 220 but don't own one. It felt comfortable and has a nice looking design. I just didn't feel it was worth the money, but I do like it.

Oh but I love the 220 Resistor. It does feel awesome in my hand and it is very easy to carry. I would love to get the top swedge sharpened. I took the belt loop off of mine and put on a tek-lock so that it is a high ride now and it becomes rather easy to carry, especially in the seasons that are upcoming. Great design Mr. Snody!
