Any BK7 Love...?

As I watch the posts on this forum, there seems to be a lot of love for various BK models. One that doesn't seem to be on many lists is the BK7. I think I've seen one in a couple of pics, but not often when people mention all the BK models they own. Am I missing something here? Do people look at the BK7 as "jack of all trades, master of none" and move to a longer or shorter blade?

Yes its untracticool unwanted that's why its still around and going strong!

Its would be a good middling sized knife and its size makes it a true jack of all trades, a real multi-tool, able to do a lot of tasks, its high saber grind helps it like the BK9 do tasks over its "Class" so to speak. Jack of all trades is pretty dang good and and still a decent job.

I don't own a BK7 but having 3 BK9s that can do big and smaller knife jobs, the BK7 should be able to do smaller things better than a BK9 and able to do large knife tasks as well also. To me a Jack of trades knife is a good thing where over lap of tasks is a wise things to have. Not an OCD need for one job for this tool and another job for another job and another tool for another job to do it the bester uberest ever...

I carry the bk7 when I know I won’t be doing heavy chopping or prying. In the former case I’ll bring the 9 or 20 and in the latter a 2. The 7 definitely fills an important role, it may not be as glamorous as the 9, 21 so it isn’t mentioned as much but it’s a great utility knife. I have 2 of them, but probably have as many as 5 bk9’s.

Deja vu! I feel like this thread reincarnates every other month.
Its a good knife. Sold mine but intend to buy another one sometime. Honestly though that size is just an awkward inbetween for most people. For some its the end all be all.

Plenty of love for the 7 here buddy :D
I love mine. It's about the biggest knife I actually carry into the wild.
