Any Blackbirds out there?

As the subject says, does anyone have one? What do you think of it? How would you compare it to the Raven?

I just picked one up and I am very happy with it. Although it feels lighter than I am used to, it seems real real stout.

Any opinions?
 
I had a Raven and now own a Green G-10 Blackbird I like the overall feel of the knife, and yes the blade is very stout and strong. The blade is a mirror of my Spec War folder, as I have the tanto blade.

EKI has axed the Blackbird and several other models from the 2003 catalog so hang on to the Blackbird its one of the fastest to retire knives from EKI it has only been out for a while.

As far as a general use/work knife the Blackbird and the Raven for that matter have been GREAT in my experience.
 
I've got a Blackbird and I love it but have never actually carried it. I usually carry my Commander but the Blackbird is a hell of a knife. Now that I know they are maybe its for the best I never carried it. Mine is marked 2001 and is serial #1823.
 
While I have never owned a Raven, I did pick up a Blackbird A Model in green G-10 several months ago. It actually replaced my Commander as My EDC for quite a while. I used the hell out of it and it served me well. Not long ago I sent it to a friend as a gift. Hope he enjoys the knife as much as I did.

Very nice folder IMO.
