Any Bladesmith's in Missouri

Hello all as you can see I am new to this forum the name is Tony.


I am a machinest by trade, I have been the CNC programmer at Kays Engineering for the last 12 years, a machinest for the 8 years before that. 20 years at the same job.

I have 3 wonderfull kids ages 27,21 and 5 :eek:

Married to a very understanding woman.

Other hobbies include guns, hunting, darts, golf, and cigars yes I said cigars hell I have more now than I will smoke the rest of my life and I still keep buying.

I would like to get started making knives.

I would like to find someone in Missouri to watch and learn from.

Michael Blue is the only one that I know of in Blue Springs or something like that. Upstanding and wonderfully nice guy.
 
Well, let's see here. We have Russ Andrews in K.C., Ron Duncan in Cairo, MO(who just happens to be having a Hammer In in a couple of weeks), Michael Burch in Springfield, MO, Don Hanson III in Licking, MO, etc...

There are a lot of bladesmiths in Missouri; ya just gotta look around a bit.
 
And Bill Buxton in the Lake of the Ozarks area.

Where are you located?
