Any BM's going to be produced again?

Noob question, but are Battle Mistresses going to be produced again anytime soon, or any other similarly-sized Busse?

I got the bug.....:D
 
the moabs were just produced, the killa zilla may be the next model, and something in a similar size may be within the next few runs.

at any given show there's generally at least 4 larger sized blades in the bm category.

as far as a production run of the normal fbm, don't expect one for at least another year, probably more. and it may not be the same knife next go around. just to give you perspective, the fbm was first mentioned in 2003, and it's had one run since in the intervening 6 years. there's been the moab, the nmfbm, and silent knights, but only one actual fbm run.
 
There are so many new models coming out that people are selling the old the get the new. That means that most of the newer Busse models are very easy to obtain second-hand. Just check the exchange or the bay and you'll probably find a good deal.

It's very difficult to say what will be coming soon. Only a few of the last 15 models or so were even known of a year and a half ago. Jerry suprises us with something new almost every time. I'm still waiting for the Tank Buster. I was sure that was going to be after the FBM.
 
If you can get to a Busse show, then there will almost certainly be some flavor of FBM there. Other than that, the Exchange and eBay are your friend.
 
What's a "Tank Buster"? Anyone? It sounds like something I want.:D

I produced a BM earlier today.

Seriously, check the Exchange or a show at this juncture. I agree those would be your best bet.

I am glad to hear that things are working out for ya Guyon, but really, who would buy one of your BM's off the Exchange here, or for that mater travel to a show to buy one.........that's just gross.


Some times I laugh at my own jokes, does that make me a nerd?

I hope we get another run of FFBM so I can get a new one at a good price.
Oh yea and a Res-C FFBM would be cool :D
 
I haven't seen a pic of the Tank Buster in years, but after seeing that I'm not into it anymore. I doubt we'll ever see that knife - especially with the TAC handle not being too popular.
 
I've been up Log Creek a lot of times - usually without a paddle. Not a pleasant experience.

I hope some more BM's get produced, maybe some different colors, or even double cut finishes with G10 handles.
