Has anyone tried using the Zip tie wave on the Yojimbo 2?

How did it work?

I already know it will get the way of your thmb in the Philipino grip.

I don't screw around with zip ties. Here's one I did that has a wave that disappears when open.

As much as I want a yo2 I would just grab a Emerson psark for waved straight edge.

*pardon if you can't understand this, it's Sunday Funday

I hear what your saying, and typically Emerson are my fave.

But I should already have a Yojimbo 2 headed my way.

The Psark is a mean blade though.

I zip tied my Yojimbo 2 and it works about as reliably as my P'kal, and unlike the P'kal, I can wear the Yojimbo at the rear corner of my pocket without fear that the blade might pop out while its in my pocket. the amount of handle that protrudes past the clip also gives me a better initial purchase on the knife for the draw. While it doesn't feel as natural as the P'kal when held edge-in, I think its overall a more versatile knife.

Never had any problems with the P'kal blade "popping out" while in pocket? If you care to elaborate?

Also gives anyone thinking about going for your knife easy access and more to grab onto, I like how the P'kal carries tucked up inner leg.

This is basically why I sold my yojimbo, I think the P'kal out shines it on many levels as a defensive folder and I did not need another utility knife.

Sorry did not mean to get all prac tac I just like me P'kals.
