Any Buck 110/schrade/camillus sized lockbacks in carbon steel?

That were made out of carbon or alloy steels? I have Sodbusters, and various other similar sized knives made of carbon steel, but no big, bolstered, 5 and a quarter inch closed lockbacks of the Buck 110 style that I can find. The new GEC is close, but not just right. :)

Thanks,

Joe/Raleigh

Search around on a popular online auction site that rhymes with "flea bay" for "Boker, lock*, carbon, -stainless" and I think you'll find some good ones. Whether you buy them there or not, it's a good place to window shop.

I've got a Weidmannsheil in green delrin just under 5" Barehead pattern and carbon skinner blade. Rather crude in finish but big&tough.

Yes, Boker jumped immediately to mind. They've got some handsome lockbacks w/carbon blades. Here's one:

I think you can still find some older (new, but old stock) Schrade USA Old Timers that I'm pretty sure come with carbon steel (1095) blades. Specifically, the model 7OT comes to mind (as in 7 and Old Timer). These can still be found on the 'auction site' and other places. When searching, use "Schrade USA" in your search string. I'm pretty sure you'll find a few this way.

Thanks everybody. Edges, I have that Boker, and it's a fine one too. I believe the 7 OT is what I'm looking for. There's a gun & knife show this weekend with a dealer that carries the older ones. I'll try there. That's the dealer that I bought the New, old stock Gerber sportsman 2 in "V" steel from earlier this year.

Thanks again, Joe/raleigh
