Any Canadian BWM Owners???

Hello Busse forum,
I have made a few requests on here before and everyone I have dealt with has been great, but now it is time for the most specific request yet...
Are there any BWM owners in or around Vancouver BC that would be willing to let me see the BWM? I am extremely close to ordering one, but being on a student budget I want to make sure that I exhaust all avenues of inspection before I drop the $500+ Canadian!!!! (I want the Orange and Black G10 :o )
My big thing is how a knife, or gun, or a pen... well anything, feels in the hand.
So, there it is if this pans out then :), if not it will just be one more thread disappearing into the ether of the internet.

I say go ahead and buy. The good thing about Busse is that you can buy, use and sell without losing your shirt. In fact, you should be able to get almost all of your money back while having fun with your knife for a good while.

Life is full of risks... Infi lessens it.
 
I am very, very close to doing just that. Well, except for the selling part if I love the knife ;). I figured this was worth a shot. What will probably happen is Jerry or Amy will post that the BWM is about to be pulled and I will be on the phone the next day :p.
 
Hey man, I actually live on Vancouver Island and have the BWM with the orange handle :) Where abouts on the island do you live?

Received my LEBWM 2 weeks ago #436.
For myself it's my first Busse and have a "perfect" hand fit.
Very satisfy!!!
Just do it!

Haha, that is yours! I saved those pics and have looked at them many times.
I live in Brentwood Bay, just outside of Victoria, I am away at UBC right now but come back every once and a awhile to visit my parents. The next time I think I will be over is Easter. Where on the Island are you?

Live in Victoria. I go to Uvic, which is about a 10km from where I live. I live right by beacon hill park, right by cookstreet village:).

Easter is a pretty long ways away, im sure you probably want to make your order by then. Sadly, I am not going to Vancouver anytime soon--damn ferry is damn pricey heh.

If you come over before you make your order, id be cool meeting up and letting you take a look at the mistress and my other Busse too :thumbup:
 
Wow, it is really cool that you live so close. I used to go Camosun and when I did I lived right by UVIC. Here I was thinking that posting on and international forum was probably going to be fruitless! I wish I had done it sooner, I was over on Monday and Tuesday, and I was in Cook Street village. If I still haven't ordered by Easter, and you are around I would love to meet up and see some of your knives. I have never seen any Busses and am new to Busse-kin knives. My GF gave me a Waki in Orange and Black with a tanker gray blade, and now I really want another... and if it matches my Waki, then so be it :D.

I cant remember off the top of my head what the shipping was. I think it was 30 if I remember. If you go through the order process but dont submit, you can find it on the Busse combat site.

It amazing how the world can be so small sometimes. Throw me a pm if you come back to the island, id be happy to show off my knives :) COngrats on the waki, if we end up meeting up, id love to check that thing out. Peace out bro

Thalestin - I would be happy to bring along my Waki, I LOVE it! And if you like knives, which it seems like you do, I think you will like it too. I will let you know when I am in town again.
