Recommendation? Any Carbon fiber scale options for Umnumzaan?

I’m looking for a show side scale in carbon fiber for my amazing Umnumzaan. I would like it to be an exact copy of the titanium scale in a simple weave carbon fiber.

I collect carbon frame locks, this is a missing part of my collection on my favorite carry knife… I gotta’ make this happen! Haha

I’ve looked all over and can’t seem to find anyone producing one. Does anyone have a lead I could explore or do I need to hire a custom knife modifier?

SheppardCC has made cf zaan scales but there are multiple complaint threads about him also

ShepardCC/Eric Shepard is probably your best bet but he has had his issues over the years. This thread is short but summarizes it well...he has consistently had problems delivering within the promised timeframe but I don't think there has ever been a case of him taking someone's money, just not hitting his promised deadlines. If you're okay putting down a deposit and not really knowing when you get your scale you can rest assured when you do get it, it will be top notch. His stuff is very good quality. He's been around long enough and has enough pieces in the wild that they're not too hard to come by on the secondary market either...in the time it takes you to order a custom one direct you could probably find at least one or two for sale on the secondary market.

After a quick Google his Etsy store shows two silver twill Zaan scales in stock...if they're truly in stock and you like the silver twill that might be a good option.

I like the idea of a carbon scale for the Umnumzaan. However I don’t think it’s wise as the thumb stud/blade stop makes direct contact in both the open and closed positions. I’m not sure how carbon fiber would hold up to that impact over time.
