I used to have a Humpback Whittler with those scales. Sold it in the Exchange and then deleted my pics but it was a very good looking knife. I'm sure the scales vary from knife to knife but mine was a real looker in my opinion.

Perhaps the buyer will post up some pics.

I found one via Google image search, leading me back to bladeforums.com:

Then, I saw the author of the post.

Look familiar? ;)

I'm guessing you'd like to see other pictures of the Barnyard Burnt White Bone, yes?

Thanks you two. The Humpback Whittler is what I just ordered in these scales to match the Slimline Trapper in your search. I was just hoping to see some other examples of the scales.

Why did you get rid of the Humpback Whittler?

Just needed some cash. Sold a bunch of other knives too. The Humpbacks are great patterns. I have a Humpback Stockman too.

My Humpback Whittler had one issue that I could have lived without. One of the small blades (can't remember which) was hard to open because the cutout in the scales was not cut down far enough. The nail pull sat just barely above the scales on that blade. I could get my thumbnail "on" the nail pull, just couldn't get it "under" it. That is not why I sold it and it was a terrific knife otherwise. Good stout blades with no play and excellent snap on all blades. The Whittler also has 3 backsprings which I liked a lot. It was a hefty knife for its size and that was OK with me.

Don't worry. You're gonna like it.
