Just wondering if anyone knows if there is anyone who makes a ceramic blade (or other non-metal) neck knife.

Check out Mad Dog Knives "Frequent Flyer" (although commercial models are said to have a strip of metal in the handle- those w/ no magnetic signature are reserved for military/LEO's only)
Also check Newt Livesay's NRG & Spike. A.G. Russell still sells the "CIA Letter Opener". Others are available from various catalogs.
One caveat: DO NOT get caught w/ one in/near a secure facility (courthouse, airport, etc.). You will be in a world of hurt.

To clarify, the 2 size FFs offered from MadDog are made from G10/ 11. Synthetic, light and non metallic for sure. But the ceramics are designated the MIRAGE series. The smallest (about 6.5" OAL) models being the X Micro drop point and the X Micro Spook in tanto configuration. Neither of these have any of the aluminum strips found in the civlian version larger G10 handled models. Either model, miminum $300 a piece.

Hi Mike. See ya this weekend. ;)

Thanx for staightening that out Kin- I mixed up the Mirage w/ the FF. My memory isn't what it once was. Catch you at the show this weekend-
Cheers,
Mike
