Any Chance at Re-Release of Stryker, Ares, AFCK, etc?

I foolishly sold off both of my liner lock Strykers. I was looking to see if they were still available and they have been discontinued for a while.

Does Benchmade re-release classic designs?

After selling off my nicer folders when money was tight, I'd really like to pick up an Ares, Stryker, and AFCK, especially if they had liner locks :D

Ares has never had a liner lock. Only afck's with a liner lock is the 800,812,814.
There has been 6 versions of the Ares released in the last 2 years, 3 versions of the afck and 1 TSEK.

I doubt it.

Liner locks are a step backwards in technology. The Torrent is the only (other than a couple HKs) LL Benchmade still makes and it's one of the slower sellers.

True, but no way I'm ever giving up my 812 - so light and svelte.

I cannot agree with your assessment. The Walker Liner Lock, as "outdated" as you may think it is, is perfectly fine and has stood up pretty good to my needs. I mean, the locks on the Strikers are some of the best made WLL I've had from Benchmade. Other manufacturers make some excellent models as well that seem to hold up extremely well over time. I've actually seen more Axis lock knives discontinued than liner lock knives, proportionally speaking of course.

Agreed, Sir. Strykers and mini Strykers had solid, dependable lockup with plenty of room for wear.

Two of my most trusted knives. The adjustable stop pins are brilliant. 910M2HS serrated is gone, regrettably. I have a clean. 910M2HS in the safe, I have to talk myself out of using almost everyday.
